My son doesn't like writing so he wasn't happy when I registered him for this class. After a few classes, to my pleasant surprise, he told me that he would like to continue and he said this is the best writing class he has ever had. When I asked him why, he said the way Mr. Wilson teaches is very interesting with a lot of fun. It is challenging but in a good way. It is easy for students to follow and focus. My son has enjoyed the class and he believes he has learned a lot from it. - 8th Grade Academic Writing

My son told me that Mr. Wilson's class is fun and encouraging. He learned a lot of grammar skills that he wouldn't have learned otherwise. Whenever he critiques a student's writing piece, he always gives extremely constructive feedback that helps the student write better in the long run. Mr. Wilson class has allowed my normally distracted son to focus and actually learn new tidbits of new knowledge. My child finds the class very engaging and enjoyable. - 7th Grade Academic Writing

My daughter enrolled in Mr. Wilson’s academic writing class. 1. Mr. Wilson has us do some problems in class and reviews the homework with us to see if we understand 2. He reviewed everything thoroughly that the students write, so the students know where to improve 3. Grammar is better now, and my daughter has learned a bunch of things that can help her sentences to make more sense. - 6th Grade Academic Writing
